The CTA provides five bus lines with more than 200 buses serving Navy Pier daily. These are #29 State St, #65 Grand Ave., #66 Chicago Ave., and the #124 Navy Pier (serving METRA lines, Millennium Park/Randolph St., Ogilvie and Union Stations). Navy Pier has three convenient taxi drop-off and pick-up points. The one that gets you closest to fest (at the end of the pier, is ENTRANCE 2 - ask driver to take you all the way to the end of the pier! PLEASE NOTE: if the pier is busy it may be faster and cheaper to just get dropped off and walk to the end of the pier) Another one is at the west end of Navy Pier, serving Dock Street and the Family Pavilion. And if you want to walk the pier before coming into the fest, use Entrance 1 right at the front gates of the pier!

Metra commuter rail is a convenient travel alternative. On weekends and select holidays, up to 3 children under 12 travel free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. [Water Taxi] In the summer months, Shoreline Sightseeing operates several 42-seat water taxi boats between Navy Pier and the Museum Campus. In addition, a Shoreline Shuttle taxi service operates between the Pier and the Loop (near Willis Tower and Adams Street) via the Chicago River.
